Enabling spiritual growth of families through education, outreach and fellowship of children and youth

Church School is an important aspect of the Pilgrim Church of Duxbury community. Church School for grades Pre-K through 8 meets every Sunday during regular worship at 10am. Nursery care is also available for kids under the age of 3. If you have questions about Church School, please contact Angelique Kania, Church School Superintendent.

Pilgrim Church of Duxbury has several youth groups, offering age appropriate activities giving all youth in our church community the opportunity to connect with peers and make important social and emotional connections with those of the same faith. Check our calendar and save the date for the next youth group meeting. You don’t have to be a member of Pilgrim Church to participate, everyone is welcome! PCD Youth

Our youngest group, Three45 is for kids in the 3rd to 5th grades. We meet right after church once a month in the youth room. The kids have a light lunch and play games, typically with a lesson in mind and super charged fun.

Our Middle School Youth Group is for 6th, 7th and 8th graders and meets one Sunday each month for one hour, from 4 to 5 pm.

Our High School Youth Group is open to anyone in 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th grade, and meets on two Sundays each month, from 6 to 7 pm.

Our Confirmation Class is offered beginning each fall and culminating in the spring with a service inducting youth as members of Pilgrim Church. Our confirmation classes are largely made up of 9th graders but every year we also have kids who decided to wait until they were a little older. So, whatever the grade, if a young person is not yet confirmed and now wishes to be, please call the church office and speak to Emily Kellar. Confirmation meets twice a month on Sundays, from 5 to 6 pm.

Vacation Bible School is offered during the summer for one week in July from 9 am to 12 pm. This is an enriching fun program in which the youth program from Pilgrim Church collaborates with the youth program from St. John’s Church.

A Youth Mission Trip currently takes place at the end of the school year on a two year rotating cycle. Much work is done from one trip to the next building relationships, volunteering and fundraising with the hope of creating a dedicated and tight-nit group of youth and leaders culminating with their work during the mission. PCD Youth
