Pilgrim Church is very grateful for your pledge of financial support for its ministries, and we want to make it as easy as possible to do so. Here are the various options:

Cash Donations: Pledge payments can be made with cash or checks (payable to Pilgrim Church). Cash and check donations can be placed in the Sunday offering; just be sure when paying with cash that you use either a pre-printed offering envelope that has been assigned to you or write your name on a pew envelope and enclose your cash. Checks can also be mailed to Pilgrim Church of Duxbury at PO Box 186, Duxbury MA 02331.

Bill Pay: Increasingly, church members are opting to set up recurring payments through Bill Pay. Most banks offer Bill Pay. All you need to do is set up a "pay to" account by inputting the Church's name and address> Be sure to use the address noted above when setting up this account. Many church members like the convenience of setting up automatic payments through Bill Pay which can be done on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis.

Pay Pal: If you would rather pay by credit card, simply click the Pay Pal button below. Once again, recurring payments can be arranged. Please note that the church will pay transaction costs with this option [2.29% plus $.30 per transaction].

Stock/Mutual Fund Donations: You can avoid paying capital gains taxes on stocks or mutual funds by gifting those in lieu of cash. This is advantageous to you as you avoid paying any capital gains tax on the gift. The church will sell the shares free of any income tax. This can be very helpful to those individuals who have a low basis in shares, may not even know their basis, or simply are looking for ways to avoid additional taxes.

Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund or other Public Gift Fund Charities: If you already have an established Gift Fund, you may make direct contributions from this fund to Pilgrim Church. Simply provide funding instructions to your gift fund. It is important to note that a pledge to Pilgrim Church is non binding and therefore qualifies for gift fund payments.

Special Note: The portion of your pledge that supports our church operations is identified as the "operating" pledge. You are also given the opportunity to pledge to Our Church's Wider Mission (OCWM). Seventy percent of OCWM gifts are sent on ot the Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ to support their operations and missions; and the balance is earmarked for outreach and mission by our Board of Christian Outreach. Just know that OCWM gifts are not part of the church operating budget.
